From these personal experiences it became clear that a lot of work was needed in Germany with friends, family and the wider public to help the 
Greek Street Cats. To give shape to this idea, our charity in Germany, “Samos Katzenhilfe e.V.”, was founded in 2014 established to officially provide fundraising and promote and grow support for the street cats in Greece in particular in Samos.
There are now a number of German volunteers who actively support us with their own expertise, technical skills or artistic talents. They help by, among other things, supplying “own” products and selling them in markets, fundraising, obtaining donors, and (co-) organizing sterilization projects. Our volunteers are not simply expected to be active in Greece themselves, there are several ways to help and support the cats, also from Germany itself.
We are always looking for more active volunteers, help and support from people who want to make a difference for the street cats. Contact us today and we will certainly find a way for you to help us too.
